RM102: Risk Management and Strategy of Renewable Energy Projects

Finanacial Modeling Tools in order to learn and conduct Risk Analysis related to Renewable Energy Projects

Description

This course focuses on how different approaches to the design, development, and funding of a renewable energy project can greatly influence the amount of potential risk held by that project. By their very nature, renewable energy projects come in all shapes and sizes, with many different stakeholders and different motivations for development. Hence, financing models and structures will involve many different variables which must be chosen by the stakeholder. In this course, you will use pre-built Risk Modeling Tools (i.e. Excel-based tools) to learn and evaluate how risk is introduced into a project and how it responds to different choices made in the development of the project.

In this course, each participant will learn about:

  • Credit Risk
